On May 6, 2014, Cheyenne Creighton (6’1″, F, Brampton Warriors, 2014) of Ajax, ON announced that she will be attending the University of Memphis to play with the Tigers this September.

Creighton will be bringing a soft touch and instinctual rebounding skills to the NCAA’s American Athletic Conference this Fall. Tigers Head Coach Melissa McFerrin can expect to avail herself of Creighton’s renewed focus to running the floor and back to the basket game. Both of those skills which have shown marked signs of improvement over this past rep season with her second place Brampton Warriors squad in the JUEL league, who are heading into the playoffs this weekend.

Creighton who currently attends Pope John Paul II Catholic High School in Scarborough, ON, had picked up a fair bit of interest this past April Viewing Period playing with the Warriors. At the ASGR Deep South Tournament. She ultimately parlayed her play the weekend of April 25-27, into the chance to play at the University located in the state of Tennessee.
