Janika Griffith-Wallace (3.5-stars, G, Tech Academy) of Brampton, ON has committed to attend Murray State University, of the Ohio Valley Conference, for the Fall of 2017.

In joining the Racers in Murray, KY, Griffith-Wallace became the first signee for brand new Head Coach Turner.

Griffith-Wallace was an integral part of the 2015 OFSAA (Ontario High school) 4A champions when she was with the the Campion Bears and played her rep basketball with the Brampton Warriors and her summers with Canada Elite prior to transferring to to the Tech Academy located in Sault Ste Marie, ON this past school season.

Griffith-Wallace is a dynamic two-Guard has a scorers mentality and can do so in bunches at a time. She is very creative in how she can get to the basket with the ball and has a pretty good midrange jumper. While her defensive consistency is a work in progress, she makes for a very intriguing player that should benefit the Racers well.

At Murray State, Griffith-Wallace joins fellow Canadian, Jessica Richards who will be entering her sophomore year at the school.
