Wright Twins (’15) Commit To Vermont

On October 17, 2013, Candice and Courtney Wright of Cambridge, ON have committed to attend the University of Vermont in the Fall of 2015.

The twin sisters both attend Jacob Hespler Collegiate and are members of the KW Lightning rep team. Each will be bringing some very good size and mobility along with them when they pack their bags for the America East Conference school located in Burlington, Vermont.

Candice is currently ranked within the Top-20 in Canada in the Class of 2015 and has been displaying a lot of promise as an off-handed big that has shown a good shooting touch from long distance and that she is more than willing to put the ball on the floor and attack from the perimeter. Her sister Courtney is no slouch either.  Along with demonstrating a decent game of her own, she has proven her athleticism in Track and Field as well, winning Triple Jump Gold and Long Jump Bronze at Ontario’s Provincial High School Track and Field Championships earlier this Spring.

According to a Press Release, Candice and Courtney already have a scholastic path in mind and they respectively have an eye on pursuing Medicine and Education as Majors.
