Justina King (4-stars, PG, 5’9”) has seen her recruiting continue to pick up.
With now half of her season now complete at Ribét Academy College Prep, in Los Angeles, CA, King has continued to turn heads with her play.
Since the Scarborough, ON native had decided to make the jump from Bill Crothers Prep of the OSBA prep league, she has been exposing her talents to a whole new crop of school on the west coast. And with her standout play, she has picked up an offer from Long Breach State and new interest from Hawaii this month alone.
Add to that the serious interest that she has been receiving from Washington, University of California-Santa Barbara and UMASSand it paints an even more complete picture of how her recruiting is going.
She has indicated that she has no problem with the idea of attending school on the west coast and is even considering taking an unofficial visit to Long Beach State.
King has the ability to come out this year if the right opportunity presents itself (which she would prefer), yet she would also consider reclassifying to 2019 if necessary. Grades and/or credits are not an issue for either scenario.
Also of note, King has not made any decisions yet on which team she will play with for the April viewing period while she is still in California. But, should she reclassify, she would likely return home to play with A-Game during the summer.
