2012 Canadian Junior National Team Rosters Set
This year’s team, which features players born on or after January 1, 1994, will feature five players that already have previous experience representing Canada on the international stage including: Paige Crozon, Taijah Campbell, Cheyanne Roger, Kaylee Halvorson and Isidora Purkovic.
This year’s competition takes place in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, where Canada will find themselves in Group B, pitted directly against Brazil, Puerto Rico and Mexico. The next stage after this tournament, is the World Championships. In order for Canada to qualify for those Championships, a minimum of a Semi-Final birth at FIBA Americas will be necessary.
