2015 Queen’s Tricoulour Tournament Award Winners

On Sept 26, 2015, Emma Ritcey of the Orillia Blues was named MVP for her effort of leading her team to a Championship win in the Tricolour Tournament, hosted by Queen’s University in Kingston, ON.

Other individual award winners of the sixteen team, high school Tournament consist of Tournament All-Stars: Sydney Gauthier of Holy Cross Crusaders, Mikaela Brewer of Innisdale Knights, Bridget Mulholland of Regiopolis – Notre Dame Panthers, Reece Mungar of the Bishop Ryan Celtics and Georgia Lee also of the Orillia Blues.

The Tournament’s Gold Medal game saw the Orilia defeat the Innisdale by a slim 52-50 margin, while the Bronze Medal game had Bishop Ryan come out on top of a 44-34 win over Holy Cross.
