Niankan Commits to Wichita State For ‘22

Ornella Niankan of Montreal, QC has committed to Wichita State University of the NCAA’s American Conference for this Fall.

The 6’0” Forward has attended Winston Salem Christian School in Winston-Salem, NC for the past three years, after transferring from St Laurent where she played with the Express in her hometown of Montreal. Her length and mobility have made her an intriguing prospect over the years. So, it should come as no surprise that her ability to face up and shoot from range, or play with her back to the basket would be appealing to the Shockers.

Prior to committing to the Wichita, KS school, Niankan played AAU with the WNC Lady Royals.
