Hamilton Transway’s Kia Nurse (5’10”, G, 2013) is closely guarded by Brampton Warriors’ Hayley Robertson (5’7″,PG, 2013) during the 2013 JUEL Championship Finals. Transway won the May 12, 2013 Gold Medal game, 88-82.
Cassandra Edwards (5’11”, G, 2013) of the Brampton Warriors gets set to attack the rim while in the paint and being defended by Becky Leblanc (left – 6’1″, F, 2014) and Quincy Sickels-Jarvis (5’11”, F, 2014), during the 2013 JUEL Gold Medal game. Edwards scored 21 points in a loosing cause as the Warriors lost to Hamilton Transway 88-82.
Hamilton Transway JUEL team members rally around fallen teammate Amira Giannattasio, who was injured on the play. Giannattasio was well enough to return to play and help Transway win this game and the Championship with the 88-82 win over the Brampton Warriors.
