Renon To Play With Gee-Gees In The Fall

Alana Renon (3-stars, 5’10”, W, Louis Riel, 2018) of Ottawa, ON has committed to play with the Ottawa Gee-Gees this Fall.

Renon is a Top-35 player in the Class of 2018, who had good size and skill. When she assets herself, she can really impact a game, proving that she can score inside and out. This current prep school season, Renon has proven herself comfortable on the perimeter, hitting big shots from 3-Point land. But, she is an instinctual rebounder and has earned her team extra possessions as one of the league’s leading rebounders.

Renon began making more of a name for herself after she joined Team Ontario U17 White last summer, and had solid showings at the Nike Tournament of Champions and USJN DC Nationals in Washington. That Fall, she transitioned schools over to Louis Riel.

U Sports’ University of Ottawa Gee-Gees are currently sitting third in the OUA East, entering into playoff action.
