Jada Nneji (3-stars, W/F, Tech Academy/ Canada Elite) of Palgrave, ON has committed to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago and play with the Flames in the Fall of 2017.

Nneji will be playing with the Flames in NCAA Horizon League conference. There, she will be displaying her high level athleticism. She has very good leaping ability which leads to a her being able to block a good number of shots and collect boards on both ends of the floor. She is able to finish well with either hand around the basket. As someone that plays a role somewhere between a Small Forward and Power Forward, she can be sneaky with how she could create some matchup problems. As she continues to become more consistent beyond the arc with her shooting, she will become all the more dangerous versus opponents forcing them to respect that shot while also having to respect her long strides and ability to get to the hole on a hurry.

After spending last summer with Canada Elite, Nneji transferred from attending Bill Crothers where she played three seasons with the Colts, before transferring to The Tech Academy Prep school located in Sault Ste Marie, ON for her Senior year.
