Julia Tuchscherer (3.5-stars, 6’2”, F, GW Graham, 2022) is a Forward from Chilliwack, BC, that is a player that has a bright future in the game.

Among the top bigs in her Class in the country, Tuchscherer has the tools of a player in her position that needs to be involved each and every possession down the floor for her team. She not only has the ability to make things happen on her own, but she is also unselfish with the ball. Both of these traits ensure that if her size is utilized after battling for favourable position, high percentage decisions are made yielding good results.

She comes from a good basketball lineage where her mother was an accomplished university player and her father now coaches at the University of the Fraser Valley where her sister Deanna plays and was names the Canada West Rookie of the Year.

Although Julia recently suffered a bit of a set back with a hand injury, she should be back to her old self and then some, when action resumes. She is more than worth a look.
