Kate Hill (’16) To Stay In New Jersey And Play In Big Ten Conf.

Kate Hill (5’8″, PG, NJ Sparks/Peddie School, 2016) has given her verbal commitment to attend Rutgers University of the NCAA’s BIG Ten Conference.

Hill started her high school career at Eastern Commerce in Toronto, ON prior to making the switch to the Highstown, NJ prep school, where she will be looking to graduate next Spring. Upon graduation, Hill will remain in state as she will be looking to join the Scarlet Knights in Newark, NJ.

Hill has been making noise south of the border earning individual MAPL (Mid-Atlantic Prep League) awards and by being a significant contributor to the New Jersey Sparks of the famed EYBL league.

At varying levels of interest, Kate had also been entertaining offers from Hofstra, Robert Morris and Seton Hall, among others.
