Forsyth To Join Tritons In ‘21

Izzy Forsyth (6’1”, G/W, BC United / Semiahmoo, 2021) of Coquitlam, BC has committed to attend University of California San Diego.

Forsyth will bring long range shooting ability with her to the Tritons when she is set to step foot on campus in the Fall of 2021. Her ability to the be efficient in the way that she plays the game makes the most of her efforts, while taking advantage of what her opponents in the meanwhile.

With the commitment to play for the Tritons that belong to NCAA’s Big West Conference, she will also be bringing a wealth on big game experience, playing on some big stages already.

She gained some invaluable a part of the Canadian National U16 squad that represented at the 2019 FIBA Americas that won a Silver Medal in Chile. She was also a part of the Team British Columbia U15 team that won the Canadian Nationals last summer. On top of those successes, she was a key contributor to her high school’s provincial Championship earlier this year. Add to that the ton of exposure and high level games her BC United travel has equipped her south of the border while travelling on the Under Armour circuit, and it becomes evident just how battle tested she is when she joins UCSD.
