Carleton Leads McGregor to Fanshawe Tourney ‘ship

On October 16, 2014 the John McGregor Panthers defeated the Mother Teresa Spartans by a score of 66-39 to win the16-team, 2014 Fanshawe College High School Tournament, which took place in London, ON.

Iowa State commit, Bridget Carleton, was the leading scorer in the Championship game with a 41 point performance in leading her team to the victory.

Carleton put on a solid effort throughout the tournament, which included scoring an average of 31.6 points per game during her three games on Championship Saturday in games against South SS in the Quarters, Etobicoke in the Semis and Mother Teresa in the Finals.

Her efforts earned her the honour of being named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player honour.
