Jacob Hespler Hawks Win Southwood Tournament

On October 5, 2013 Jacob Hespler (Kitchener, ON) won the 2013 Southwood Senior Girls basketball tournament in Cambridge, ON.

In the Championship Final of the 8 game tournament, Candice Wright led all scorers with 18 points, as her Hespler Hawks defeated the Resurrection Phoenix (Kitchener, ON) by a score of 41-28.

Jasmine Ramcharan helped out in the victory for the Hawks by scoring 12 points.  In the losing effort, Sarah Schulz scored 14 points for the Phoenix.
