Lienafa Leads Champlain in Scoring in CEGEP Title Game

Candice Lienafa of Longueuil, QC scored points on March 3, 2024 to help the Champlain St-Lambert Cavaliers to win the CEGEP provincial title.

Lienafa was 8-for-12 from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line in the win. Besides leading her team in scoring, the league’s first team all-star added 7 rebounds and also blocked 2 shots.
By defeating Saint-Jean in this title game, 70-64, the Cavaliers punched their ticket to the CCAA national championships, taking place in Lloydminster, AB with the hopes of improving the team’s Bronze Medal performance back in the Spring of 2022.
