Parris Commits To Harcum College

Mikaela Parris (5’9”, F, Royal Crown Academy/BecomeOne/Sister’s Keeper-TO) of Toronto, ON has committed to attend Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Parris’ size and ability make the term Combo Forward fit her perfectly. She has been developing her ball handling skills towards the tail end of her high school career which has allowed her to not have to be anchored to the paint in order to be productive on offence. She has also become more proficient in shooting from longer distances, also assisting what she can do on offence. Where she may be a touch undersized in the height department, she makes up for in the skills she has developed of late and by being more competitive by way of physical play and leveraging her strength to win positioning battles when forced to play opposing bigs.

Parris attended Royal Crown Academy last season, and played her summer ball with Become One and Sister’s Keeper-TO.

Harcum College participated in Region 19 of the the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) last season.
