Radar Worthy: Haley Stinebrickner

There are often players on the opposing team that you must always know about where they are on the court.  For Southwest, one of those players is Haley Stinebrickner.  To describe her game, one could paint a picture by making a comparison to elements of Stephen Curry’s game.  At first glance, her slight petite build may come across as unassuming.  But Stinebrickner (5’8″, PG, Southwest Academy, 2021) has a very accurate shot from 3-point land.  She appears quite comfortable to shoot 3-4 feet beyond the arc and can easily score in bunches.  To complete the comparison, she also always seems to be in motion and has the ability to leverage screens quite well.

She connected on six 3-pointers in her game against St Jean-Sur-Richelieu at the CROWN Scout presents…the 2019 Chris Smalling Tournament, proving the ability is definitely there.  Doing so consistently, regardless of the competition, should be next on the agenda of her development.  Without a doubt, this would take her game to new heights.
