Radar Worthy: Lemyah Hylton

Lemyah Hylton (4-stars, 5’11”, G, Southwest Academy, 2022) of Mississauga, ON leverages speed as a main feature to her game.

When the term fast is used here, it is not just your average fast. Hylton has already been clocked with a time of 12.42s, 100m sprint time at the 2019 Ontario high school (OFSAA) track and field Midget Finals. And with a ball in her hands, she brings much of that same heat.

She shines in the open court, creating havoc in transition and using speed to her advantage to combat pressure. In the half court, she can replicate an explosive reaction time with a very quick first step on route to the basket.

Expect Hylton’s work ethic to bridge her over during these quarantined times, to remain more than worthy of staying on the radar of several Power Five conference universities.
