Rowe Receives 2 ‘She Got Game’ Game MVP Nods

Cheyenne Rowe (6’2”, F, 2022) of Ajax, ON was twice named game MVP at the She Got Game DC Metro showcase.

The event took place between December 10-12, 2021 in the Washington D.C. area, where Rowe’s Markham Prep finished 2-1 in the scholastic event.

While leading helping to drive her team to a 59-53 over Word of Life Christian of Virginia, Rowe earned game MVP honours by scoring 13 points and collecting 11 rebounds. During Markham Prep’s second victory, this time a 67-61 win over Blair Academy, Rowe score 15 points and had 10 rebounds.

Rowe’s standout performances are a good sign of exactly where she is in her development. The high school Senior appears to be firing on all cylinders, with her game peaking at just about the right time. She has her eyes set on attending James Madison University next Fall which just so happens to be located about a couple of hours away from the site of where She Got Game Classic was held.
