St Albert Skyhawks Win 2014 REB Invitaional

On December 13, 2014, the St Albert Skyhawks of St Albert, AB beat the Holy Cross Crusaders of Saskatoon, SK by a score of 45-33 to claim the 33rd Annual REB Invitaitional Basketball Tournament in Edmonton, AB.

The Skyhawks led by their tournament MVP, Marinya Marcichiw, who has committed to attend the University of Alberta next year, won all three of their tournament games. First they defeated Lethrbridge in the opening round by a score of 67-45, Aberhart 76-60 in the Semi-Finals, before their Championship win on Saturday night.

The out of town Championship Finalist Crusaders started off their tournament with a win over Western Canada before beating Spruce Grove Panthers in the Semis by a score of 58-43.
