Adut Bulgak To Wear Tar Heel Blue Next Fall

Adut Bulgak (6’4″, F, South Carolina Athletes in Leadership, 2012) has given a verbal committment to attend the University of North Carolina in the fall of 2012.

“Out of all the schools I visited, I felt like I was with family, the environment was just so welcoming”, a reserved Bulgak said.

Although she calls Edmonton, Alberta home, Bulgak currently attends South Carolina Athletes in Leadership, a prep school in Florence, S.C.

Last school year, she attended Archbishop O’Leary in Edmonton, where she helped guide the Spartans to a Bronze medal in the province’s 4A high school championships (ASAA).

She is expected to sign her Letter Of Intent during the NCAA’s late signing period in April 2012.

Bulgak has made the most of her added exposure in this her first school year south of the border. Her hard work has led to impressive showings, including a 32 point, 15 rebound game against Potter’s House Christian at the Health Care Awareness Basketball Shootout in mid November.

****Update – Due to a change in circumstances, Bulgak is to attend the Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas for the 2012-2013 school year and will not end up attending North Carolina at all. Trinity Valley were the 2012 NJCAA Champions.
