Alyssa Jerome Makes University Decision Official

Alyssa JeromeAlyssa Jerome (4.5-stars, 6’2″, F, Harbord/North Toronto Huskies) of Toronto, ON has committed to become a Stanford Cardinal in the Pac-12 Conference for the Fall of 2017.

Jerome has been a top ranked player in her Class for a number of years now, showing steady improvement throughout and versatility that makes her a tough customer on both sides of the floor. She is a highly skilled player that is able to defend multiple positions. And, on the other end of the floor she can create matchup problems with her length on the perimeter and her speed closer to the basket.

Jerome has had quite a decorated past couple of years including a representing her country the past couple of years, and including being a part of the squad that won FIBA Americas gold back in 2015, which was the first time a For her efforts, she was named the event’s MVP. Later on that summer, she won a U17 Canadian National Championship and was honoured with a First Team All-Star nod. This past summer she was able to make both the U17 Canadian National team that participated in Spain, and the U18 National team that played in Costa Rica.

Jerome will look to graduate from Harbord high school and is expected to finish out the rep season with the North Toronto Huskies. With this decision, she will now join fellow Canadian Mikaela Brewer, who is now in her Freshman year at Stanford.
