Anderson Is West Coast Bound

Maya Anderson (6’2”, F, Crestwood Prep, 2023) of Toronto, ON has committed to attend San Jose State University to play with the Spartans later on this Fall.

Anderson, who is completing her Senior year at Crestwood, can stretch the floor as a spot up shooter from long range. Her size affords her the ability to show glimpses of a back to the basket game, to go along with being able to put the ball on the floor from the perimeter in order to attack the basket.

The Spartans made it to the second round of the Mountain West Conference Tournament this past season before losing to the conference’s second ranked team, Wyoming.  Anderson joins fellow Canadian, Samantha Shields, as she will be entering in her Junior year.
