Brown (‘19) Commits To Gryphons

Shaunae Brown (5’6”, PG, J. Addison/Advantage, 3-stars) of Markham, ON has committed to attend Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.

“Now that I made this commitment, I feel very relieved with the accomplishment”, said Brown in a CROWN interview.

“Im relieved that the process is over and I know what I’m doing next year. And, a sense of accomplishment that all of my hard work and hours in the gym have paid off.”

Brown will bring with her lots of shooting range to the Golden Griffins this Fall as she has proven in several games this year. If defenders choose to sag off her, she is comfortable in extending her shot selection beyond the 3-point line with good success. She has good speed with the ball and her decision making has improved year over year.
