2023 Chris Smalling Tournament

Thank you for looking to participate in the CROWNSCOUTGIRLS.com presents…2022 Chris Smalling Girls High School Basketball Tournament. This year’s event, will again have a new home. This year, the event will be held at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Durham College, both located in Oshawa, ON from October 26 – 29, 2023.

This year’s event will feature teams from Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Alberta and British Columbia . Like last year, this year’s event will have a Junior bracket for teams with players in Grades 9 and 10 only, and a Varsity bracket with players from teams from any high school age each playing in a Championship format.

Varsity teams from Ontario will play once on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and the other  Varsity teams will play twice on Friday and once on Saturday.  The Juniors each will play once on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Although the matchups have not yet been finalized, games on Thursday will start at 4p.  Games on Friday and Saturday are each set for as early as an 8:30a tip off time and as late of a tip off time as as 9p.

The stage is now set, for all participants to showcase their talents in front of dozens of NCAA College Coaches and quite a number of U Sports and CCAA Coaches over the course of the 2-day event.

We expect much more of the same turnout by interested University Coaches this year as we did last year.

To ensure your team’s spot in this year’s tournament, all payments must be received as soon as possible.

The cost of entry for this year’s event is $675CDN (+tax = $762) per team.
