Clesca To Join ACC As ‘20 Commit

Sandrine Clesca (4-stars, 5’9”, PG, Lincoln Academy (NC), 2020) of St-Laurent, QC has committed to attend the University of Pittsburgh this Fall.

Clesca makes this commitment and will attend this ACC conference school as a 2020 graduate, reclassifying from the Class of 2021 in order to do so.

The newest Pitt Panther comes in as a long PG that leverages her athleticism as a key asset to her position. Clesca is a pass-first player that tends to opt for getting her teammates into the game, yet doesn’t lose sight of her opportunities to score the ball. She tends to keep a cap on her number of turnovers and can rely on a number of options to maintain possessions in the open court.

Clesca had spent the majority of her formative basketball years as a member of the St Laurent Express, a high school in Montreal, before transferring this past year to Lincoln Academy in Winston-Salem, NC with other Montreal native and 2020 commit, Kiandra Browne.
