Kayla Drummond (3-stars, 6’1”, F, Crestwood/Kia Nurse Elite) of Toronto, ON has committed to attend Lafayette College in Easton, PA. She will play with the Leopards who play in NCAA’s Patriot League, next Fall.

Drummond has flourished in her role at Crestwood Prep as a sure handed player with a knack for being at the right place at the right time. She can often be found doing most of her work in and around the low post when it comes to rebounding. Her size and just the right level of physicality has earned her team countless second chance opportunities, many of which she cleans up herself, overcoming contact to do so. Over time, Drummond has evolved to make use of her size as a disruptive presence on the defensive end of the floor. She is active in the paint with traffic that flows through and along with her rebounding skills, will block the occasional shot or two.

In joining the Leopards next year, Drummond joins Sophia Zulich, a Forward who played with Drummond last year with the Crestwood Lions, south of the border. Zulich now attends the University of Denver.
