Taylor Featherstone (2.5-stars, G, Louis Riel, 2018) of Ottawa, ON has committed to play with the University of Calgary Dinos this Fall.

“It’s always been a dream to play at the university level and now I can say that it’s a dream come true”, Featherstone announced via her Instagram feed.

Featherstone tends to play a traditional Point Guard role when she plays, with a tendency to look towards creating for others before looking for her own shot. She has the ability to gain separation in the open court it’s the occasional cross over and can still leverage decent results with her pull-up shot.

“I’d like to thank my friends, family and coaches who believed in me every step of the way and who have helped me become who I am today”, continued Featherstone of whom she’d like to give thanks to.

Featherstone has played the past number of summers running the Point Guard position for Team Ontario, even earning a Silver Medal in the summer of 2017 as a part of the Canada Games contingent in Winnipeg, MB in August.
