Ganpo (’18) To Join Leopards

Naomi Ganpo (3.5-stars, 6’2″, GTA West) of Mississauga, ON has verbally committed to attend will the Lafayette University in the Fall of 2018.

Located in Easton, PA, Ganpo will be joining the Leopards, who play in the NCAA’s Patriot League conference.

Ganpo, who is relatively new to the game of basketball having only played on organized ball for a short period of time. This summer she earned her ways way onto many radars, playing with A-Game at the Run For The Roses event in Louisville, KY and at the USJN DC Nationals. Her length and competitive nature are certainly pluses for her. Also working in her favour is that she is also the type of player earns her her team extra possessions by rebounding at both ends of the floor and also contributed with several blocks through this past summer.

As Ganpo continues to develop, look for her to continue to hone her skills on the floor, including adding more offensive skills as her confidence continues to grow.

Off the court, she is a high academic student that will surely make the most of her in class opportunities.
