Hollingsworth Headed To Pittsburgh

Megan Hollingsworth (5’11”, G, Capital Courts Academy) of Orleans, ON has committed to attend the University of Pittsburgh for the Fall of 2025.

Hollingsworth is a strong Guard that has a very workman-like quality about her. She always seems willing to do the little things that need to be done on the court in order to help her team win. Whether diving to loose ball defending a big off of a pick and roll situation or encouraging a teammate, she is there, willing to do what it takes. It is encouraging to see her continue to show improvement in her midrange game and should be able to contribute on both ends of the floor for the Panthers in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Although her Capital Courts prep team came up short last year in the Ontario prep finals, much of that team is back and should to be mentioned among the OSBA league’s top teams. Hollingsworth played this past summer with Kia Nurse Elite on the EYBL circuit.
