Tineya Hylton of Toronto, ON has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend The University of Georgia, and play with the Bulldogs next Fall.

When she suits up for Georgia, who plays in the NCAA’s Southeastern Conference (SEC), expect this shifty Guard to continue to take the ball downhill on droves to the basket. Almost since the beginning of her high school career, Hylton has been extremely quick with the ball and has had a knack for getting her defenders off balance resulting in good things offensively. She showed no signs of letting up in that regard this summer with Become One on the Under Armour Circuit, also packing with her the ability to shoot from long range of defenders sag too much.

Hylton had attended Hamilton Heights in her Junior year before looking to stay home for her Senior year. And, in her Senior year at Royal Crown, she announced her decision to reclassify. By completing a fifth high school year, changing her from a 2020 to a 2021 high school graduate she by passed any impacts to her development from the COVID shut down, and avails herself the opportunity to evolve her body and her game in preparation for play in Athens, GA next Fall.

As a part of her recruitment process Hylton also heavily considered interest from Kansas State, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.
