John Earns OSBA Pool B Top Defensive Award

Cyanne John has been named the 2023-2023 Pool B Defensive Player Of The Year in the Ontario Basketball Scholastic Association Prep league.

The Bill Crothers Colts have earned a promotion to Pool A next season, largely in part to John’s defensive ability. As an active rebounder and shot blocker, John was instrumental in the Colts’ second place, 11-3 Pool B record. She was also very much a team leader and made an impact for them each time she was on the floor.

John will be playing her Summer ball with Kia Nurse Elite before returning to Bill Crothers to complete her last prep year and the OSBA beginning this Fall.
