Lee Verbals Cal-Irvine

Deja Lee (3.5-stars, 5’8”, PG, BC United/Semiahmoo) of Surrey, BC has verbally committed to attend The University of California – Irvine in the Fall of 2021.

Lee bring a lot of speed to her position which will benefit her Big West Conference team greatly. She already does a good job pushing the pace in transition and will greatly reward teammates that have a similar ‘get out and run’ mindset. While she is quick both on and off the ball, she uses change of speed well to keep defenders off balance. She is quick to pounce while on defence and is the type of player that you want on the court to assign to guard the opponent’s scorer.

Touring the Under Armour circuit with her BC United teammates will be in serious jeopardy this summer, she will be completing her Senior year with Semiahmoo, who should be favorites to defend the Provincial Championships they won just a earlier this year.
