Melaschenko To Play With Warriors This Fall

Lydia Melaschenko (5’7”, PG, Capital Courts/Kia Nurse Elite, 2022) of Ottawa, ON has signed her National Letter of Intent to continue playing at Merrimack College of the NCAA’s Northeast Conference.

Melaschenko will be attending the North Andover, MA, Division 1 school on full scholarship. The signing comes fresh after Melaschenko was instrumental in her Captial Courts prep team winning the 2022 OSBA Championship in March.

The 5’7” Senior PG, was one of the key contributors to Capital Courts’ first OSBA Championship earlier this year. When she suits up for the Warriors next season, look for Melaschenko’s hand in supporting ball movement and defence as key contributions to her team’s success.
