St FX to Welcome Kingsbury This Fall

Kim Kingsbury (3-stars, 5’8″, PG, Mother Teresa/Ottawa Nationals) of Nepean, ON has announced that she plans on playing for the St Francis Xavier X-Women in the CIS in the Fall of 2017.

Kingsbury has very good speed in the open court and is comfortable in playing with both hands. She continually shows a great understanding of the game and will be an asset to the X-Women offence with her pull-up that has been yielding some very positive results.

“Kim has played every perimeter position so far in her young career which speaks to her versatility. She can handle the ball, pass, penetrate to the hoop and hit mid-range jump shots. She is a perfect addition to our young, talented roster,” said St FX head coach, Augy Jones.

“I have been in contact with Kim for the past couple of years,” continued Jones, “And it has been great to watch her game improve steadily and have her commit to our basketball program.”

St Francis Xavier University is located in Antigonish, NS.
