Cassandre Prosper (5-stars, 6’2”, W, 2023) of Rosemère, QC has signed to the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN beginning next Fall.

Prosper is the top Canadian recuit in Senior Class this year and kept many guessing right up until signing day as to the direction she would go with where she would end up.

The 5-star recuit has a highly coveted skillset and has been successful on just about every level she has played on. She possesses high end Guard skills in a long 6’2” frame, so it is certainly no disadvantage for her to have the ball on the perimeter to create for others, shoot the 3 or use her long strides to get to the basket in a number of ways. Defensively she is very nimble and uses every bit of her reach to block shots or turn opponents over, regardless of the opponent’s ability. All leading to great results no matter the team she has played for including championships at the Canadian National and OSBA levels and a Silver medal and a nod to the FIBA Americas Top Five in 2021 where she led Team Canada in Scoring with double digit performances in every game in the event.

Prosper completed a great summer earlier this year with Become One and the Canadian National Team where she displayed her game against the best in the world. She more than held her own, solidifying herself to be able to be recruited by just about any NCAA school. In the end, she opted to join the Fighting Irish and play in the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference). In this her Senior year at Capital Courts Academy in Ottawa, ON, she will look to finish off on top by trying to help them repeat as OSBA playoff champions.
