Ziba Verbals Northeast Conference Pioneers

Marie-Laeticia Ziba (3-stars, 6’0” F, Capital Courts, 2019) of Gatineau, QC has verbally committed to attend Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

Ziba really made a splash this past summer, turning heads with the Capital Courts Summer Team, which played at the Nike of Champions in Chicago and at USJN Nationals in Washington, DC. While at those events, her solid frame and strength turned heads as she found was to be active on the glass, lead the break and play through contact with positive finishes at the rim. She is the type of player to be quite vocal and displays leadership qualities to help to get the most out of her teammates.

When Ziba joins the Pioneers who play in NCAA’s Northeastern conference, Ziba will be no stranger to travelling away for school. While she calls Gatineau home, she had spent a couple of seasons on Montreal, QC while attending St Laurent and playing with the Express before these past couple of seasons with the Capital Courts Prep based out of Ottawa, ON.
