Bennett Gives Verbal Commitment to Bearcats

Carletta Bennett (5’9”, G, King’s Christian/Kia Nurse EYBL) of Brampton, ON has committed to Binghamton University as a part of the graduating Class of 2025.

Bennett will join the Bearcats (who play in the America East Conference) as a combo guard with the ability to run the point or put the ball on the floor. She has proven ability to get hot beyond the arc, and has a couple of tricks up her sleeve when needing to be creative when driving to the hole. What should be noted is her basketball IQ. As one of her stronger suits, she makes good reads and seems to clue into what opponents are trying to do in order to best counteract.

With the commitment decision, Bennett will join fellow Canadian, Jadyn Weltz, who is enjoying success there and was recently named to the America East All-Conference preseason team.

Bennett will wrap up the remainder of her Senior year at King’s Christian Collegiate and played her AAU ball with Kia Nurse Elite EYBL.
