Rebecca Milon

Rebecca Milon (5’11”, SF, 2024) of Ottawa, ON has committed to attend Monmouth University, in West Long Branch, NJ this Fall.

Milon’s long limbs and athleticism make her a prime candidate to make an immediate impact defensively. Her versatility and ability to Guard the perimeter and even defend in the Post make her prime to defend in pick and roll situations as she has shown able to keep up with shifty opposing Guards and mix it up some against other bigs. On the offensive end, she has been showing improvement in her shot from longer ranges. She excels however when she is able to put the ball on the floor and let her athleticism and length do the talking. Long strides and leaping ability assist with her offence and defence, whether closing down defenders, securing possessions off the boards or finding ways to get to the rim for higher percentage looks.

Milon is a late signee for the Hawks who play in NCAA’s Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), and will join five other Canadian already on their roster. She played the last of her Summer ball with B1CE in the Girls Under Armour Association (GUAA) and attended prep at Capital Courts Academy last school year.
