Morra Shines As Kings Christian Collegiate Wins OFSAA 2A Gold

On November 28, 2015, Kings Christian College Cavaliers of Oakville, ON won the OFSAA 2A Championship which took place in Kingsville, ON. The title was granted to them after their 65-46 win over the top ranked E.S.C. Theriault Flammes of Timmins, ON.

The Cavaliers were dominant in their 5 games throughout the provincial tournament, with their closest margin of victory being the 19 points they experienced in the Gold Medal game against the French school Flammes.

Kings’ sophomore Post, Christina Morra, made her impact throughout the event, scoring at a high rate. Morra averaged 21 points in those five games.
Freshman Laeticia Amihere led in scoring in the Cavaliers third game, putting up 18 points against seventh ranked Korah.

The Gold Medal win, is the first for the Oakville, ON private school.
