Promising Prawl Earns OSBA Pool B Top Honour

On May 25, 2023, Deniya Prawl was named the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association-Division B Most Valuable Player.

This award continues a string positive acknowledgement as Prawl continues to make a name for herself. In this her sophomore year, the she is no longer a secret as many of her opponents aim to game plan for her, and she still rises to the top nonetheless.

Prawl led her Fort Erie International Academy to an undefeated league play run, resulting in a promotion to Pool A next season. That strong play and the youth of her and many of her teammates are sure to make an immediate impact on the standings in the top bracket next season.

The announcement of this award was made yesterday, which is given to the top player in that OSBA prep school league’s Pool.
