Summer Pahl To Play With Bears in ’18

Summer Pahl (5’10”, PG, St. Mary’s/ Tri-County, 2018) of Kitchener, ON has given her verbal commitment to attend Mercer University of NCAA’s Southern Conference.

Pahl is a strong Guard that will bring a fair bit of skill with her to the Macon, GA area school. She is able to make very good reads on her defender and and what the defence is up to when she gathers a head of steam on her way to the basket. She has no problem absorbing contact, changing direction or dishing in order to make the right play. I look for Pahl to make a decent impact early into her time with the Mercer Bears to demonstrate that she is no stranger to hard work or doing whatever she can to contribute to her team’s success.

With the commitment, Pahl has changed courses somewhat, having originally committed to attend the University of Vermont back in her Freshman year. But due to a Catamounts coaching change, she had re-opened her recruiting to explore other options.
