Bergeron To Play In Philly This Fall

Clara Bergeron of Boucherville, QC has committed to attend Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA this Fall.

Bergeron is a skilled Forward that has the size and skill to really make an impact when she suits up for the Dragons who in the NCAA’s Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference. She is comfortable playing in the low post with her back to the basket, but can also shine when needing to face up from either the short corner or high post, where she has has a pretty reliable midrange shot.

Prior to an injury that kept her out of action during the 2021-2022 season, Bergeron was named to the U19 Canadian National Women’s Team that participated in the FIBA World Championships in Hungary.

Because of the injury, Bergeron did consider returning for another year before making the jump to playing post secondary ball.
