Diop (‘22) Commits To A-10

Aissatou Diop (Champlain-St. Lambert Cavaliers/SLAM) of Trois-Rivières, QC has committed to attend the University of Massachusetts of the NCAA’s A-10 Conference.

Diop, is a 6-foot, Forward that whose size and ability commands attention on both ends of the floor. On offense she can be successful out of the low or high post with her shooting ability or her ability to put the ball on the floor. Defensively she can rack up her number of blocked shots as she averaged more than a block and a half per game last season (1.6) and can use size as leverage to make things challenging inside for opponents.

Diop will begin attend the New England area school beginning in the Fall of 2022.
