Breedy Verbal’s Oakland University For Next Fall

Brianna Breedy (5’7″, PG, Pickering HS, 2018) of Ajax, ON has made a verbal commitment to attend Oakland University, located in Rochester, Michigan.

“I am very happy and excited to announce my verbal commitment to Oakland University”, said Breedy via her Twitter account

The Horizon League conference Golden Bears are getting a player that is starting to understand her full potential. Since the start of the last school year, The now high school Junior has begun to take on more and more of a leadership role with the Pickering Trojans, causing her overall game to stand out more. Along with a very good work ethic that she has had for quite some time, Breedy has emerged as a player that has maintained her ability and desire to facilitate for others in order to make the players around her better. But, is learning the value that comes with the need to take the opportunities given to her to score the ball, in order to create even more chances, which is a very good sign of the maturation process of her game. As she continues to find her voice and become a Oakland will learn that they have an on-court General, that will not only talk the talk, but will walk the walk as well.

In her Twitter announcement, Breedy went on to thank family, friends, coaches and teammates that had helped to contribute to the fabric of who she is today, obviously truly thankful to have the chance to step into a great chance to continue her growth in and off the court.
