Ricard To Join Seahawks This Fall

Angelie Ricard of Saint-jean-sur Richelieu, QC has committed to attend Wagner College of the NCAA’s Northeastern Conference.

Ricard, a 3-star Guard, will look to make the jump to the next level as a player that has shown that she has the ability to take care of the ball and put points in the board with some hot shooting. For years she has been demonstrating confidence in pulling the trigger when defences sag too far, but also having the ability to put the ball on the floor when necessary with good success.

After having just completing her first season after an injury, Ricard finished her Senior season averaging 12.6 points per game for the St Jean Riverains and earning a Second Team All-Star selection in the Cégep league. The table is now set for her to really make the mark that she is so passionately chasing at the at the university level.

As a late signee, Ricard joins the Seahawks who finished this last season as the fourth ranked team, who made it to the second round of their conference championship.
