Sisler Completes Perfect Season With 2015 AAAA MB Title Win

On March 23, 2015, the Sisler Spartans of Winnipeg, MB completed their perfect season, defeating the Oak Park Raiders by a score of 83-51, and winning the AAAA Manitoba Girls High School Basketball Championships.

Kyanna Giles, led the Spartans with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 8 steals, while helping her team to cement a 33-0 record this season with the lob-sided win.

The Spartans led the championship game right from the opening tip. They started the game off with a 11-0 run, which grew to 17-3 by the end of the first quarter. That lead grew to as many as 40 in the third quarter as Sisler never really looked back.

The Spartans also received major scoring contributions from Kiya Giles, who scored 12, and Sentilla Bubb who added 10.

In response, Annaka Webber led Oak Park with 13 points, while Boise State commit Jordan Tully scored 10 and collected 18 rebounds.

Kyanna Giles, who shot an impressive 10-for-17 from the field including 3-for-7 from beyond the arc, was named playoff MVP.
