Smith Twins Commit To Rockets

Twins Courtney and Heidi Smith of London, ON have both committed to attend the University of Toledo, the Fall of 2024.

The Smith sisters’ game are similar in a few different ways. Both make for unrelenting matchups for their opponents, due to how hard they play on a consistent basis. They always seem to be in motion on both sides ends of the floor, whether finding gaps as they are moving without the ball or driving with the ball in their possession on offence, or pressuring the ball for the length of the floor in full court pressure situations. This coupled with their ways to impact the scoreboard should enable them to make a rather quick impact to the Rockets and the Mid America Conference (MAC) of the NCAA.

After attending Southwest Academy in 2022-2023, the Guards are finishing off their Senior high school year at J Addison School, where they are leading the Jaguars to first place so far in OSBA (Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association) Division 2.
