Sofia Lucadello Commits to Concordia College

Sofia Lucadello (5’9″, W, St Francis Xavier) of Edmonton, AB has committed to attend Concordia University College of Alberta for the Fall of 2015.

Lucadello, who is a good 3-point shooter, was a top recruit for the Concordia Thunder, according to Head Coach, Robbie Valpreda.

“We are thrilled to have Sofia be a part of our Women’s Basketball Program for the 2015-16 season. She has a great ability and talent to play the game on both the offensive and defensive end with a high basketball IQ.”

Valpreda went on to say via press release: “Sofia was our #1 recruit and having her commit to Concordia says a lot about our program and long term success.”

Lucadello is a 2013 Metro Edmonton Hgh School Premier MVP, who next year will look to leave her mark on a Thunnder squad, that currently sits 5th in the North Division of the ACAC.

“We’re still young and our players are getting better everyday; adding a player such as Sofia provides our program with versatility and scoring.”
